Lou filing a few thousandths off one of the gear centralizers. To test the gear mesh, a rather small diameter alignment bar was made, over which slips a set of centralizers that adapt the gear hole to the alignment bar. This ring is just a fuzz to big for the #2 pinion. To see how these function, later photos in this album.
