Cut lever is resting in place, ready for the second tack weld to be made. After tacking, the assembly will be placed on a bench for final welding. It would not be cool for Sparky to set the end timber on fire. The lifting arm has a 2 3/4 inch offset forged into it, to clear the draft gear pin, just as the front one does.
