Looking right up the inner, stainless steel inner tube that the Cass workers have recently installed, in order to reduce wear and corrosion. About 4 o'clock is one of the holes in the inner tube which allows cinders to fall back down into the smokebox to either fall to the bottom, or be shot up the inner stack again, hopefully being broken small enough to exit the stack screen. The diversion cone is nicely positioned on its supporting stilts.
