The counter bore of the left spacer has been machined. The cylindrical portion of the CB has not been entirely resurfaced as it does not clamp anything with precision. This cavity simply must retain circular shims to take up slack as wear of the bronze thrust ring (yet to be installed or even machined) becomes thinner with wear.
