In order to control both the radius and angle of the bend, we contrived this bending form, made by cutting the end off of one of the junked bottom arches. A piece of plate was welded to the top of the die to cover over the old bolt holes. The angle of this die does match toe angle of our plywood gage used to make the upward bends.
