Ready for the #6 cap to be installed on the crossbox. Notice the oil hole adjacent to the rear side of the tall stud in the crossbox. This oil hole leads down to the axle sleeve, and care must be taken to be sure all the shims have oil holes in them, or the axle sleeve gets only half its allotment of oil. This hole was blocked off in at least one of the cross boxes when it was first torn apart. Note that the upper cap bolts, which must be installed from below, are already in place. These must be applied prior to the crossbox being scooted over next to the ring gear. Please do not ask how this was discovered.
